Intervention with ESIEE Paris
As part of a module on artificial intelligence in video processing on FPGA, Deverne presents a typical vision system to students in the “Intelligent electronic systems” sector ofESIEE Paris, school of Gustave Eiffel University.
More and more electronic systems
Increasingly present in our daily lives, connected objects with embedded systems represent the future of technology, which is why companies are constantly seeking to bring new concepts. This particularly concerns video systems which allow the acquisition of a large volume of data to be processed, which makes them the most useful sensors... provided they know how to process the information collected.
A growing need for skills
In our opinion, the involvement of companies in the training of engineers is crucial, both in terms of technical skills and working methods. To contribute to the training of engineering students at ESIEE Paris, Deverne proposed a system design with an educational vocation. This is a complete real-time image processing system, which takes an image displayed on a screen to analyze it (detection of points of interest) and transcribe it in a corner of the same screen.
